Current Fund Drive "Save the Bell"
The Doniphan-Trumbull Public School Foundation is currently trying to raise $3,000 for the refurbishing of the old school bell. The bell was used at the previous school building and also rang at the home football games. The Foundation plans to refurbish the bell and display it on the school's southeast property at the corner of Second and Plum Streets. Funds would help pay for restoration of the bell, building a brick mounting and some landscaping around it.
