On November 9, 2004, the Giltner Choir will attend the Crossroads Conference High School Vocal Clinic on the Doane College campus. The vocal clinic in a day where the choirs from all the conference schools come together for a day of singing. This gives the students a chance to sing with a large number of people instead of the small group they sing with on a day to day basis. It also gives them a chance to work with another director who gives them a new insight on things to work and improve on. This year's Honor Choir members are: Stephanie Harmon, Maggie Schroder, Natasha McKillip, Whitney Williams, Kyle Schroeder, John Cates, Matt Thies, Dan Busch, Bowen Stallings, and Cory Schafer. These ten students will sing with other Honor Choir students in the morning, and the rest of the choir will join them in the afternoon. The concert will be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Heckman Auditorium on the Doane College Campus in Crete. We hope to see you there.
Also, thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket for the Mall of America Trip. The busses are sold out and 96 shoppers will depart for Minnesota on November 20, 2004. Detailed information will be sent to each shopper in early November. Thanks again for your support!!!
