Welcome to the Transition page of the Nebraska Department of Education Special Populations Website. This site is designed to provide information and resources for all stakeholders involved in assisting students with disabilities as they prepare to transition from school to adult living. This site will provide critical information regarding the transition process, to include requirements and mandates as well as best practices in the field of transition. We will continually update this site with relevant information, and hope students, parents, educators, and agency personnel will find this information helpful as they engage in the transition process.
